Fencing Central 2026 Nominations

Nominations are now open for members of the Fencing Central Executive positions and General Committee Member for 2026/27.

Prior to our AGM on the 21st of March at 4pm (during Trefoil) please nominate for the following roles: President, Secretary, Treasurer and General Member. If the nominated individual is somebody other than yourself, naturally you must get their approval beforehand.

2025 Central Awards and SGM

The 2025 Central Fencing Awards and Central Fencing SGM (Special General Meeting) are being held on Saturday 6th of December.

Hutt Valley are hosting a pot luck BBQ at Wellington Bowling Club Building (Wellington Swords). Please bring a long a plate/some food to share and help us celebrate the end of the year.

Timings for the day are as follows:

  • SGM: 4pm
  • Awards: 4:30pm
  • Food/Fun: 5:30pm onwards

If you hvae any of the Fencing Central trophies please return them to Wellington Swords or a Fencing Central Committee member before the awards.

FenCen SGM to Ratify Constitution

Notice is hereby given of a Special General Meeting to be held on the 9th of November at 1pm at the club venue in Brooklyn.

The single item on the agenda is the adoption of a new Constitution, which is required in order to be compatible with the new Fencing New Zealand Constitution, all of which is required in order to be compatible with upcoming changes to obligations under the relevant government legislation as applying to clubs and societies.
